The project

Scott Hall was built in 1963 as a computer center for the Navy Supply Corps School. Beginning in 1973, it served as the school’s officers club.

UGA converted the main floor into a student center and The Niche dining commons for the new Health Sciences Campus. The lower level contains university administrative offices.

The 2013 renovation replaced building systems, repaired the envelope, and addressed fire safety and accessibility so the former Navy building could support daily campus use.
