The project

The Academy of Medicine was built as a meeting place for physicians and a home for the Medical Association of Atlanta. The main floor and finished basement total 20,000 square feet.

Gifted to the Georgia Tech Foundation in 2008, the building now serves events and meetings. The renovation preserved the character of a City of Atlanta Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places while achieving LEED Gold certification.
