The project
The school replaced the outdated, two-level Morgan Elementary with a fully accessible facility. The sloping site led to a one-story shared core connected to two-story classroom wings.
Reception, administration, the library, gymnasium, and dining hall occupy the primary one-story volume. Two classroom wings rise to two stories. Large windows and clerestories bring daylight inside, and alternating soffit colors help younger students find their classrooms.
